A Meditation Day Course
2,500 years after Buddha first began to teach, his message continues to resonate. Although Buddhism is an ancient wisdom that first appeared in the East, the practices taught by Buddha are timeless and universally applicable, providing powerful solutions to many of the problems we face today.
Although aspects of Buddha’s teachings such as training in mindfulness, meditation, loving kindness and so forth are becoming increasingly popular, few people understand where these teachings come from. The original framework within which they were taught is not only key to them taking full effect, ultimately it gives our life great meaning and direction.
The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness.
